The Dream Wall Project
I created and produced this interactive public art installation collecting 10,000 dreams for a better future. The project asks: What is your dream? Write it in the stars. Each dream builds a future with accepting and inclusive societies, empathetic and compassionate discourse and a more united human family.

Project Mission
The Dream Wall Project gives space for participants to communicate their truths, find refuge in the process of creating and connect to those around them.
Our experiences and perspectives define who we are and what we create in the world: Through physical art making, collaboration and personal expression, we can bear witness to one another.

Creating and Contributing
After completing their dream tile, participants choose a location on the wall and place it. Each constellation builds the wall, creating a large collective of dreams for a better future.
The Dream Wall traveled to The Women’s Convention in Detroit, Michigan, Four Freedoms Park in New York City, and First Night Pittsburgh before participation became digital in 2020.

Project Portraits
Everyone has the option to have a photo taken with their tile. They can also include their @handle to see their work on The Dream Wall Project account.
The account shows where the project has been, who has contributed, and where it’s going next. It offers an ongoing opportunity to feel the collaboration, connectedness and unity across physical, geological and/or emotional borders.

Dream Wall Project Future
The wall is designed for easy transport: It’s modular, folds into one stack, and can expand to custom lengths.
The project will travel to diverse public locations in order to gain a more accurate, collective representation of our dreams for a better future.
